About Sharon

With more than 20 years of client relationship, business development and contracts experience, Sharon Capitani is the REALTOR® for you. After spending years selling products for Fortune 500 companies in the Northeast, Sharon’s leadership roles and corporate sales discipline have been strengths for her transition into real estate.

In 2019, Sharon was awarded the Hall of Fame Award through the Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS® and earned a Masters Ruby award with Century 21 and landed a Top 50 agent in Maryland for Century 21. She is a Lifetime Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer and award winner every year since becoming a REALTOR®. She was also a Best by Washingtonian Magazine in 2018 and a Top 50 agent in the Mid-Atlantic for Century 21. She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Maryland Association of REALTORS® and Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®.

She grew up in Kentucky and has been residing in Maryland since 2004 with her husband and two teenagers. Sharon is an active member of the community and enjoys spending time in the Washington Metro area. When she’s not working, you will find her spending time with her husband, kids, friends and pets. She loves to travel, cook and watch college sports, especially Kentucky basketball. She also lived in Alexandria and spent 14 years as a Virginian resident. She can give firsthand knowledge of Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia markets and communities to her buyers and sellers. She is licensed in Maryland and Virginia.

Sharon enjoys meeting people from around the world and sharing her love for the Washington, D.C. metro area. She treats her clients like she would like to be treated with fairness, honesty and loyalty. She feels that buying a home is a commitment and wants her clients to be well-informed in their real estate decisions.
